Upon arrival, take a moment at the gate for registration while our team makes final preparations. Your first day's destination is the Cave Bivouac Camp, approximately 6 hours from the gate. The trail ascends steeply, presenting occasional slippery sections. Traverse through the enchanting moss-draped trees of Kilimanjaro's cloud forest. As the forest thins along the hike, you'll be greeted by vistas adorned with heathers, tall grasses, and vibrant wildflowers. Traverse past the Heim, Kersten, and Decken Glaciers, encountering the stark beauty of the alpine desert with sparse vegetation. Despite the barren landscape, Barafu Camp provides awe-inspiring vistas of the imposing Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Rest is crucial this evening, as you'll rise before midnight for the summit push.

The climb to the crater rim presents the most arduous section of the entire trek, with a steep incline until you reach Stella Point. From Stella Point to Uhuru Peak, the ascent is gradual, though the high altitude prolongs the journey, making it demanding. After approximately one hour, bask in the triumph of reaching Uhuru Peak, capturing memorable photos with your guide and fellow trekkers against the breathtaking backdrop of the mountain, crater, clouds, and glaciers.
