At Berngo Safaris, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and seamless communication throughout your travel journey. As a travel agency specializing in customized safaris, adventure travel, and cultural experiences across Africa and beyond, we do not ship physical products. However, we ensure that all essential travel documents and information are delivered to you promptly, securely, and conveniently.

1. Nature of Delivery

Berngo Safaris provides travel services, not physical goods. Therefore, our "shipping" refers to the electronic or physical delivery of travel-related documents, such as:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Itineraries
  • Invoices and receipts
  • Tour and hotel vouchers
  • Travel insurance details (if applicable)
  • Flight and transfer confirmations
  • Entry permits or park passes

2. Delivery Methods

📧 Digital Delivery (Primary Method)

  • All documents will be sent via email to the address provided at the time of booking.
  • Documents are typically delivered within 24 to 72 hours after payment confirmation.
  • Final travel documents (e.g., safari itineraries, hotel vouchers, permits) are usually delivered 7–10 days before the trip start date, unless otherwise agreed.

📦 Physical Delivery (Upon Request or On-Site)

  • In rare cases, such as when working with embassies or corporate clients, printed documents may be delivered physically upon request. This may involve courier fees.
  • Printed itineraries, name tags, or welcome kits may also be provided on arrival at your destination by our Berngo Safaris team or local guides.

4. Changes or Delays in Document Delivery

While we strive for prompt delivery, certain delays may occur due to:

  • Awaiting third-party confirmations (e.g., hotel, park authority, airline)
  • Client changes in itinerary or traveler details
  • Regional power or internet outages (particularly in remote destinations)

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful delivery of documents, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing a valid and frequently monitored email address
  • Notifying Berngo Safaris of any email changes
  • Reviewing documents upon receipt and reporting errors within 24–48 hours

6. No Liability for Email Failures

Berngo Safaris is not responsible for email delivery issues caused by:

  • Incorrect email addresses provided by the client
  • Client spam or security filters
  • Internet outages or device failures on the client side

We will, however, make every reasonable effort to re-send or arrange alternate delivery.

7. Policy Updates

Berngo Safaris reserves the right to modify this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and effective immediately upon posting.

Return Policies

Berngo Safaris Return & Cancellation Policy


At Berngo Safaris, we understand that plans can change. We are committed to providing transparent, fair, and customer-centered return and refund policies while balancing the operational demands of travel planning.

1. Booking Deposits

A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable, as it is used to secure accommodations, guides, permits, and other logistical arrangements.

2. Final Payment

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the trip start date. If booking is made within 30 days of the departure date, full payment is due at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Note: Some accommodations, flights, or third-party services may have their own non-refundable terms. These are excluded from any refund Berngo Safaris may issue.

4. Changes to Itinerary

You may request changes to your itinerary up to 30 days prior to departure. While we will do our best to accommodate these changes, they are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Events

Berngo Safaris is not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or airline cancellations. In such cases, we will offer to reschedule or provide a travel credit, when possible.

6. No-Show or Early Departure

No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the tour if the traveler fails to show up or voluntarily leaves the trip early.

7. Refund Processing

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 21 business days to the original form of payment. Bank transfer and currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the client.

8. Travel Insurance Requirement

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, travel delays, and personal belongings. This ensures peace of mind and financial protection.

9. Third-Party Bookings

If you booked your trip through a third-party platform (e.g., TourHQ, Viator, GetYourGuide), their cancellation policies may override ours. Please refer to their specific terms and conditions.
