2. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Tea Estate Welcome

• Arrive at Chileka International Airport (BLZ).
• Transfer to Huntingdon House (Thyolo), a colonial-era retreat amid tea plantations.
• Relax with a sunset dinner overlooking the estates.

Day 2: Ascend into the Clouds

• Breakfast, then drive to Mulanje Mountain base.
• Trek to Chisepo Hut (4–5 hours) through mossy forests and granite outcrops.
• Overnight at the hut; stargaze from the mountain ledge.

Day 3: Summit Sapitwa Peak

• Pre-dawn start to conquer Sapitwa Peak (3,002m)—6–8 hours round trip.
