Day by Day 

Day 1: Arrive Entebbe, Transfer to Kibale Forest NP

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be met by your guide who will facilitate your transfer to the edge of Kibale Forest National Park.

The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through lush countryside and small towns.

Upon arrival at your accommodation near Kibale Forest, you'll check in and have the rest of the day at leisure to relax after your journey.

Day 2: Bigodi Wetlands Excursion, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

After breakfast, you'll embark on a guided excursion to the nearby Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary.

This swampy area is renowned for its rich birdlife, including the rare shoebill stork, as well as primates such as colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys.

Enjoy a leisurely walk through the wetlands with a local guide who will provide insights into the flora and fauna of the area.

Following the excursion, you'll continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a drive that takes approximately 3-4 hours.

Upon arrival at your accommodation in Queen Elizabeth NP, you'll check in and have dinner.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Trip

Rise early for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is home to a diverse range of wildlife including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and Uganda kob.

The game drive offers excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings and photography.

After the game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and some relaxation.

In the afternoon, you'll embark on a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake George and Lake Edward.

Day 4: Drive to Ishasha Sector, Transfer to Bwindi NP

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing for the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its population of tree-climbing lions.

Spend the morning on a game drive in Ishasha, keeping an eye out for the iconic lions resting in the branches of fig trees.

After the game drive, you'll continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its mountain gorilla population.

The drive to Bwindi takes approximately 4-5 hours, passing through scenic landscapes and local communities.

Upon arrival at your accommodation near Bwindi NP, you'll check in and have dinner.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After an early breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing, where you'll be assigned to a gorilla family group and briefed on trekking etiquette.

Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you'll set off into the dense forest in search of the gorillas.

The duration and difficulty of the trek can vary depending on the location of the gorilla family, but it typically takes between 2 to 6 hours.

Once you locate the gorillas, you'll have one unforgettable hour to observe and photograph these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP, Afternoon Game Drive

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before bidding farewell to Bwindi NP and embarking on the journey to Lake Mburo National Park.

The drive to Lake Mburo takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through scenic landscapes and rural villages.

Upon arrival at your accommodation in Lake Mburo NP, you'll check in and have lunch.

Day 7: Morning Walking Safari, Return to Entebbe

Start the day with a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, accompanied by an experienced ranger.

After the walking safari, return to your lodge for breakfast and some relaxation.
