DAY BY DAY 

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Kibale NP

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be greeted by your tour guide or representative.

After a brief orientation and introduction to your itinerary, embark on a scenic drive from Entebbe to Kibale National Park, located in western Uganda.

The journey takes you through diverse landscapes, including rural villages, tea plantations, and rolling hills.

Arrive at your lodge in Kibale National Park in the late afternoon or early evening.

Check into your accommodation, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience

Wake up early to the sounds of the forest and enjoy a hearty breakfast at your lodge.

Meet with your guide and head to Kibale National Park for the Chimpanzee Habituation Experience.

This full-day activity allows you to join researchers and habituation teams as they track and observe chimpanzee groups.

Spend the day trekking through the forest, learning about chimpanzee behavior, communication, and social dynamics.

Enjoy packed lunch in the heart of the forest, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.

After an exhilarating day, return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP

After breakfast, check out of your lodge in Kibale and begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes, including lush forests, winding roads, and rural communities.

Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon and check into your accommodation.

Take some time to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the forest surroundings.

In the evening, you may have the opportunity to participate in a cultural performance or relax around a campfire, listening to stories from your guide about the park and its inhabitants.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi

Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing with experienced guides.

Begin the trek into the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family, accompanied by park rangers and trackers.

Once you encounter the gorillas, spend a magical hour observing their behavior and interactions in their natural habitat.

After trekking, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, depart for Lake Bunyonyi, known as the "lake of a thousand islands," where you'll check into your accommodation.

Enjoy the serene surroundings of the lake, perhaps taking a dip or exploring the nearby islands.

Dinner will be served at your lodge, where you can unwind and reflect on the day's incredible experiences.

Day 5: Bid Farewell to Uganda

After breakfast with stunning views of Lake Bunyonyi, take some time to relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.

Depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity to explore the surroundings further or participate in optional activities such as canoeing or village walks.

In the afternoon, check out of your lodge and begin the journey back to Entebbe International Airport.
